My favorite part is when it comes to talk about painting. I could be talking about it for hours. But this time I will give you just basic tips and tools to help you start. First you need to know it's your color and how to mix them. Let's do a exercise, Ready? Think quickly... what are the primary colors? ..... RED, YELLOW, BLUE! Good! but now what red and yellow give you?.... ORANGE. Once you know the color and how they are mixed you ready for the second part, the materials you will use. In painting there are many different types of paints and processes: oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, ink, mixed media, etc. If you choose acrylics, you will need to use water to blend the paint in oreder to control the consistency of the paint, but if you are using oil paint, then you will need to use linsen oil.
