This Nodosaur was accidentally discovered by some minors in Canada in March 21, 2011. The man who made the fossil discovery is named Shawn Funk, the Nodosaur had died around 100 million years ago.
The Nodosaur's fossilized armored plates and skin were still in tact. This Nodosaur had 20 inch long spikes on it's shoulders. It's one of the fossilized Dinosaurs that has preserved more than just it's bones as it's stomach was preserved later found out it was a picky eater. The Nodosaur was preserved in what was once the ancient sea and on the sea floor, the Nodosaur had weighed more than a ton. Even after it preserved the last thing it ate was also preserved in it's stomach as well.
