This new species of Spinosaurus was discovered in the Isle of Wight, even thought previous Spinosaurus fossils were discovered it has been difficulty to determine the species of the Spinosaurus because most of the bones were missing. This Spinosaurus of the Isle of Wight however has the skull and tail in tact. The skull of the Spinosaurus was greatly intact that it allowed researchers to help reconstruct what the Dinosaur may have looked like. Finding the skull of the Dinosaur is incredibly rare as most of the bones are worn away by erosion.
